The story of Shaka Shrimp Kitchen begins with a shared love of hospitality and a belief that dining should be as welcoming as it is flavorful.
The founders connected over a deep appreciation for great food and genuine service while working together in the early days of a concept that would later expand nationwide.
That experience eventually led to an opportunity to help feed troops in the middle east. Long days led to conversations about restaurants, travel, and the idea of creating a place inspired by a lush, tropical destination; somewhere opposite of where they found themselves.
That idea eventually became Shaka Shrimp Kitchen. With it’s laid back vibe and vibrant food scene, St. Pete FL was the natural choice for the first location. Shaka Shrimp Kitchen was created as a place for people to relax and connect with friends over a great meal.
